Paul McAuley tweeted a link to abandoned and creepy swimming pools today over at the wonderfully evocative Deserted Places blog.
Which reminded me of this photoshoot I did with Nico Krijno in crime doyenne Margie Orford‘s winter-neglected pool, all green and choked with leaves.
It was bloody freezing.
I swallowed half of it accidentally and mysteriously developed a throat-infection the next day.
But it was very, very Zoo City.
